General Info: The Bostwick-Braun Company is a wholesale hardware distributor that supplies retail and commercial/industrial customers throughout a 10-state region. It is among the oldest full-service, general-line distributors in the United States. The Bostwick-Braun Company has multiple locations with the corporate offices residing in Toledo, Ohio. The distribution center is in Ashley, Ind. Another distribution center and showroom are located in Lorain, Ohio. In February 2001, Bostwick-Braun Company finished installation of a conveyor and carousel project to make it the first in the industry to use a fast pick carousel. Bostwick-Braun Company is ISO 9002 qualified. Established in 1855, the Bostwick-Braun Company is Toledo's third-oldest business. It has been employee-owned since 1980, which makes it the first hardware wholesaler in the nation to be owned by its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
