Edited --- added reply to JeffAOP Feb 6th 2013 ----

My comments ARE NOT slander. I can play the recordings of your good friend Joseph giving me misleading and outright wrong info regarding my case.

Why did he change his Avvo . com listing removing he handles Medical Malpractice cases? Did you ask him that, wise guy?

If he was so nice to you, and everyone else, why not be honest with me too?

He was obviously trying to protect his friend, the defendant, by destroying evidence, and to mislead ME.

In regard to the dentist I reviewed. That's true too.

I also have another dentist saying if my teeth were left that way, I would have lost them.

It cost me $12,000 to fix what that reviewed dentist screwed-up, and/or didn't repair.

So, before you get all 'high-and-mighty' ask Joseph why he lied to me.

I didn't make up anything I posted here. Either about Joseph, or the dentist I reviewed.

Want to hear the recordings of your good friend telling me I can't sue a private hospital after one year?

Maybe I'll create a web site with them for everyone to hear them too!

Your friend Joseph took advantage of me, and my situation.

If I'm not telling any truths, let him sue me. I welcome it..!

I'd love to make him look stupid in open court.

If this is slander, why didn't he start any legal action against ME?

BECAUSE HE KNOWS IT'S ALL TRUE..!

--------------------------------------

Pass this 'lawyer' by, and keep looking for an honest one, this one doesn't know law, or just gave me wrong info for the $5000.00 he charged.

He said a private hospital can't be sued after one year. ...

Not so, I found out it's 2 and 1/2 years, when I asked another lawyer.

P

He also likes to waste time, and didn't tell me an investigation was dropped, but kept taking payments, to 'fight' it, for me.

Don't give him your original paper evidence, you won't get all of them back, and he'll give you copies of some, instead of your originals.

(unless he was just doing that with me, to remove the damaging evidence against the defendant.)

Conflict of interest, doesn't bother him. ...

He is friends with the defendant, (neighbors), around the block from him, he didn't bother to tell me this when I mentioned their name.

Pads his bill. ...

Puts hours of time, for actual minutes of work.

When he came to my home to view the paperwork, he just stayed 15 minutes, but he charged for one(1) hour. ... He was suppose to review them at my home, so i could keep them with me, and give him copies of the important ones, but he took all the papers with him.

Lied to me, from the first phone call, about the case.

I have him recorded if he'd like to sue me. (try it, you'll look really stupid, Joseph)

I was suppose to get important paperwork evidence sent to my address, he called the other lawyer and changed that so it went to him instead, first, to edit what I saw.

I wouldn't trust him to give the correct time of day, and tell me the weather outside,

let-alone, with an important case.

He's advertising in the 'Val-Pak Coupons' mailing envelope. ... Need I say more?

(... I know... I should have seen the writing on the wall with that one. ...)

Do your review searching for any lawyer you consider. I should have searched better, first. ... I would have seen this 'lawyer' is nearly unknown, to actual clients.

Maybe that's because most others throw-out the 'Val-Pak' coupons envelope without looking inside. ... I should have done that too.

I hope you all are getting the big picture here.

RUN AWAY from this guy, don't call him for the free consult, or if you do, at least record him.

I'm still wondering why he wanted a copy of my drivers license.

No other lawyer said they needed that from me. Is he into ID theft too?

If you like being lied to, this is your guy. :-)

Overall

Joe represented me when I was involved in a car accident. I was extremley impressed at his attention to detail, prompt responses when I had questions about my case and overall courtesy and compassion as to what I was going through. I have hired other attorneys in the past but I have to say...No one comes close to Joe in getting results...needless to say we won the case...$15,000 plus 20 years of Chiropractic Care !!...Trust Me....he is one of the best and he will win for you too

There are few people in the world, regardless of profession, that are truly concerned about the well being of others. Also there are seemingly less people that take true pride in their work. Upon hearing of this slander posted here by "truereviews4u" , I was immediately compelled to reply on behalf of the best man I know and a legitimate , honest professional, Joseph Maira . Cowards nowadays use Internet savvy to discredit those which they may disagree with, rather than sitting down like a man or woman and discussing it. Personally I'm sick of it! Click on this person's username and see that they also have a problem with a dentist...maybe next week it will be the local mail carrier...perhaps next month a roofing contractor. Credibility in this world is everything and some people prefer to hide in the shadows rather than stand and face the light of day. Joe is honorable and dignified and conducts himself and his business with the utmost class and moral fiber and clearly I highly recommend him for anything you need.
