General Info: The Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute of Maryland, founded in 1978, provides care to patients suffering from anxiety, stress and trauma-related problems. Every patient receives a comprehensive individualized assessment and treatment plan based upon state-of-the-art knowledge in the field. Its staff of experienced specialists includes psychologists, social workers, nurses, professional counselors, behavioral specialists and psychiatrists. Its services include individualized assessment, group therapy, individual therapy, cognitive and intensive behavior therapies and couples and family therapy in the course of treatments. The clinic also offers meditation training, stress management, medication management, clinical supervision and biofeedback techniques.
