Diamond Vault of Troy

I found the Diamond Vault of Troy by luck. I had a very unique custom engagement ring in mind. Fortunately I met Randy who took a personal interest in my idea. This included a variety of very rare stones and cuts in a complicated setting. He is truly an artist and a great person to deal with. My wife was blown away it turned out so good (and for half the price I expected to pay). I would highly recommend them to anyone particulary for custom jewelry

These guys are great. My wife and I have had wonderful experiences the multiple times we've worked with Diamond Vault on some jewelry purchases. They have always gone out of their way to make sure we were happy and we definitely feel we can trust them. Most recently I had been having some sizing issues with my titanium wedding ring. I ordered a new one through them after Randy sized me and everything, and when it came in it was oddly a little bigger than what I had been sized at. I called up DV and talked to Timothy who without question ordered me a new ring a half size smaller at no charge and even shipped it to me for free. I would definitely recommend the Diamond Vault to anyone looking to make a jewelry purchase.

I bought my wife's engagement ring, and subsequently her wedding ring from Randy. A couple of years later it was stolen and I knew just where to go. Randy got us a replacement ring that was much nicer than anything I would have been able to afford anywhere else. Great experience buying from the Diamond Vault of Troy - my husband and I went searching for a unique piece of jewelry ("Delivery Diamonds") for the birth of our first daughter. I found the most amazing vintage diamond ring that I will proudly wear and one day pass down to my daughter. The service was amazing, but I loved the fact that The Diamond Vault not only had "modern" styles of today, but also unique timeless pieces. The Diamond Vault is THE jeweler to go to, bar none!! Randy and Tim, owners of the Diamond Vault, have proven to be invaluable consultants to my fiancé and I since we decided to get engaged in February 2011. Our friend referred us to the Diamond Vault because she had a superior experience with them as well. The vast majority of their clientele (if not all of it) is generated through word-of-mouth, so you know you'll be handled with care. Both Randy and Tim go the extra mile each time we visit them to ensure we're happy. They provide a relaxing atmosphere so you can take your time and feel confident about your purchase. Each time my fiancé and I leave their store, we seriously feel like we've just visited with a couple of good friends. My engagement ring gets compliments from pure strangers, and my fiancé’s wedding ring (a custom design using his Grandfather's wedding ring) is coming together beautifully. Thank you Diamond Vault for making this part of the wedding planning process a breeze!

What can I say; Randy and Tim are simply the best in the business. I was shopping for my fiancée's engagement ring (or I should say the center stone) for over three and a half months. I went to some of the higher end places, which all had nice, stuff, but really took advantage of their customers financially. I also went to a few pawn shops which never really delivered. In total, I went to twelve diamond vendors and saw about 50 diamonds before I got to the Diamond Vault of Troy. When I walked in I already had a very good amount of knowledge and I had grown accustom to asking jewelers questions that they didn’t know the answer to; just to see how full of “it” they were. However, Tim and Randy didn’t BS me at all. They actually knew the correct answers to my questions. They’re not the type of place with a ton of inventory trying to sell a particular stone, but rather they wanted to find me the stone that best fit the criteria I set out. If I didn’t like a stone for any reason, we talked about it, they would make a new suggestion, and we carried on to the next stone. The best thing about Tim and Randy is that they make you feel like you are welcome and comfortable in their place. There was never a time that I felt uncomfortable or unable to make a comment on the way the process was going or expressing my concerns with them. They insist on having the absolute best prices and will beat pretty much any legitimate deal. Probably the most important aspect of their operation (and the reason I am writing this review) is the level of commitment to making me as the customer happy. It took me a long time to find the stone but once I did I needed to have the setting made within 7 days. Randy made sure that I got the ring a couple days early just so I could have peace of mind. (The ring I had made usually takes 3 weeks to complete). The ring wasn’t exactly how I wanted it, but I took the ring home because I had plans to propose over the weekend. A week later I called to see if I could have a few things changed. Tim insisted that I bring the ring in as soon as I was available. I got the ring back a few weeks later and I couldn’t be happier. Bottom line they are the best in the business. Shop around and then go see the Diamond Vault of Troy.

On my first visit to The Diamond Vault, I was amazed by the plush surroundings and the accessibility of the jewelry. There is no pointing at a ring you like through a glass case;everything is open to you and you are encourage to try it all. Other jewelry stores tried to dissuade me from the diamond I really wanted- a fancy brown called a cognac diamond-but Randy used all his resources to find the stone for me at the size and price we wanted. I have a small ring size (3.5) and none of the intricacy of the design was skimped on because of this. My boyfriend and I were able to design the ring together with Randy, who really listened to what I wanted. I found the idea for my ring online and with Randy's experience as a jeweler, was able to expand on the design and take it further than I had imagined. It was also great to be able to step away so that I could still be surprised when the proposal took place. My boyfriend proposed May 6, and I am just as in love with the ring as I am with him. Randy and Tim have encouraged us to stop in anytime-I love having my ring cleaned by them!- and I don't feel they are "done" with us simply because they have our money for the engagement ring. We designed a wedding band that compliments my engagement ring and will be going back to them for my fiancees band as well. We consider them our family jeweler now and will go back to them for all future jewelry purchases.
