Leoni Wiring Systems won the Porsche Supplier of the Year 2000, GM Supplier of the Year 1999-2000, and several other awards and recognition from companies such as IBM and Mercedes-Benz. The company is a long established, and large-scale manufacturer of wire, cable and wiring systems. The wire and cable divisions of Leoni have a range of products, such as standards cables made to national, international and manufacturer standards; and specialty cables produced for very specific applications and customized to client specifications. The division focuses on ready-to-connect and ready-to-fit cable assemblies, as well as development and production of complete cable systems. The wiring systems division focuses on the development of complete wiring systems and the associated electronics. Leoni Wiring Systems, based in Tucson, Ariz., is a subsidiary of Leoni AG, a German manufacturer of wire and cable products.
