Stertz Construction

I worked with the smooth-talking Rick Stertz for months, and slowly but surely saw that he does not pay his subs (many of whom have since fired him or demand 100% payment up front... smart), bounces checks regularly, does not know how to properly and accurately execute work or draw plans or pass inspections, and does not know how bill people with integrity. He works slower than molasses.



He bid some work for about $20,000 (which was fair), took 7 months to complete anything, and ended up charging $60,000 (yet he insisted on doing everything in-house to save money!) Plus Stertz tried to stick me for even more (which I refused), and then the letters from the lawyers started rolling in.



Rick Stertz does, however, have an excuse for EVERYTHING. He could probably talk his way out of murder.



If you are still on the fence, do some research on the ROC's website about Stertz' numerous contractor license suspensions for lack of bond from 2012 - 2014. I'm sure there's an excuse for that, too!
