If I could rate a ZERO, I would. This place is literally a JOKE. I brought my poor pup here to get help, be in mind its 9 at night and I drive from MERCED to TURLOCK to get her some help, and all they do is point out damn obvious! I've never been so livid in my life with a vet visit!! Not to mention, her visit was $116 for stating the obvious, AND an additional almost $150 to sedate her and pull something from out of her nose that's been causing her to sneeze repulsively. Needless to say I left to go see regular vet in the a.m. who is WILLING to work with me and actually help my dog, NOT just state the obvious!

I took my rescued kitten to this Vet on Sunday July 9, 2017 after making an appointment. I arrived about 4:20 pm and left about 7:30 pm. She was running a fever, had labored breathing an infected eye and dirty ears. Even though this Vet Hospital takes emergencies on a 24 hour basis I waited two hours for her to be seen while she was kept in isolation in the event of possible contagious upper respiratory infection. An x-ray taken to check her abdomen for the respiratory issue. It only revealed the stomach was very over extended and thought to be a blockage in the digestive system. Because she is sick vaccinations couldn't be given. A sample from the right ear proved earmites and was told a treatment was given. The ears were not cleaned as stated on the bill. Also a flea treatment was applied all over body which soaked her fur which I feel was hazardous to her as an 8 week old. The initial bill was: office visit $40, x-ray $79, amoxicillin drops $15, misc treatment $5. Then I was billed seperate For Milbemite otic for the earmites. I paid the bills and waited for the ear and flea treatments were done. I was not given the amoxicillin and ear otic before leaving and had to return the following day to pick it up. I questioned where the earmite drops were and was told it was a onetime treatment. Past experience with pets I knew the drops would need to be repeated daily for 2-3 weeks. Naturally I followed up with my regular Vet as suggested if no relief occurred. She was still having all the same symptoms and made an appointment with my regular local Vet. My regular Vet checked my kitten's ears to verify earmites. Her ears were both flushed and an ear optic was prescribed to be used daily for 3 weeks. My issue with Taylor Veterinary Hospital is with the earmite optic billed. I called July 18, 2017 to request a refund because the one time treatment and lack of ear cleaning was ineffective and high priced. My regular Vet charged me $33.84 for the optic. Will file complaint

Best vet I have been to in order to have my dog, Bandit, check-up, shots, and especially grooming with anesthesia! He had a horrible grooming a few years back where the groomer but his ear and one nail was clipped below the quick....so now he doesn't trust anyone except me (sometimes) to touch him. Because of the bad visit, he still limps on that same paw. Taylor vet treated Bandit very well and so I will take my dog to Taylor Vet forever!

Brought our 8 week old puppy in with signs of constipation. Some how they felt a piece of dog food in her throat and charged me $300 to remove it.then tell my wife it some how got into her lungs and if they take out the breathing tube she won't breathe on her own because she's brain dead.how did she go from excitedly licking my face and having trouble having a bowel movement to brain dead. Explain that now $700 murder bill to my 5 year old son.

It was great to have someplace to go late at night, and not have to drive all the way to Modesto. They got my cat back to my family vet the next morning and worked really well with them. They were right there, quick, professional and caring. Thumbs up for Taylor!
