Methadone Clinic of East Texas

It's very disappointing to see how great this Clinic was 10 years ago under its old management but how it has evolved over the past few years. It's nothing but a shadow of its former self despite how many people depend on this service and how much the government pays these people to get free rides back and forth and enter treatment and turn around and be treated like garbage.

There's an entirely new mindset Within the management that taking methadone is not good and is not beneficial and more methadone is detrimental to your health despite all of the science that supports exactly the opposite. It's like, why on Earth do you run a methadone clinic if you don't believe in the theory behind how it helps people?

And for me the answer is simple. Cash money dollar dollar bill y'all.

I am a driver for the state and lately I have been hearing that this clinic in Tyler TX has been treating its Medicare patients as second class citizens. Also that is makes them come in 4 to 5 times a week while cash paying citizens can get up to monthly take outs. Sure enough when I checked into this its true all so they can charge Medicare more money if they make them come in each day. They have even tried making up an excuse if that they are treated this way if they have a dirty urine when in fact they do it to people who are and have been clean as well. Even found out their doctor walked out of the clinic and quit saying he could not stand dirty drug users. Something is not right in this clinic and the way it is run. This is fraud of the tax payers dollar, and needs further investigation.
