Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. We recommend this treatment to anyone experiencing discoloration that cannot be fixed with whitening or if your teeth are damaged. Porcelain veneers are also an option if you’re unhappy with the shape or look of your natural teeth.
Crowns
Truly a great experience from start to finish! I needed a lot of work done, crowns, fillings etc. Making appointments is always a breeze and I’ve never had to wait too long once there. The entire staff, including the dentist, is exceptionally kind and helpful. They all went the extra mile to make sure I was all set before traveling for the holidays. The time they take with my anxious child is phenomenal too. They let him bring his own toothpaste from home and allowed him to sit up in the chair which made him feel more comfortable. Definitely a dentist office that we will be using for the foreseeable future, absolutely great!

Root Canal Treatment
Dr. Rechthand earned his Bachelor of Arts from the City University of New York, Queens College his doctorate from the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry. While in school, he was awarded membership into the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society and The Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor society for outstanding academic and clinical performance. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Baltimore VA Hospital, where he received advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry including oral surgery, implantology and endodontics.

We are proud to provide dentures that are designed to fit your mouth for proper function and unique comfort. Should you need special accommodations such as extra neck support we are glad to provide a pillow or adjust the dental chair to a comfortable position for you. Our hygiene room is equipped with state-of-the-art electric piezo ultrasonic scalers which comfortably deep cleans stain and tartar for patients that have significant build up or periodontal disease. Our doctor’s operatories are equipped with comfortable padded chairs, and new dental handpieces that are faster and quieter than traditional drills. We also have a ZOOM! teeth whitening light for in-office bleaching.

Dr. Rechthand is passionate about dentistry and delivering healthy and beautiful smiles to his patients. He is especially interested in implant dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He considers himself a lifetime student and believes that learning never ceases. He is a member of many organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Baltimore County Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Maimonides Dental Study Club and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
