Live Music Center The

From the courteous staff to the excellent teachers, it's a wonderful place to experience music. I love that they have programs like Rock Band School Camps and their own Orchestra and Jazz Band.

We love Live Music Center! My kids have taken piano lessons there for years and the staff is totally awesome! Not only are they great music teachers, but they are great people as well! I can't say enough about them!

I just love shopping at Live Music Center. They are always very helpful and friendly, and very patient with my questions. We've rented instruments here for school band, and have just signed up for lessons.

Our family has been taking music lessons here for a few years now, and they are absolutely wonderful, both kids are still excited to play their instruments and it is amazing how good they are getting. We've also had repairs done here (don't drop the violin, pieces can come off...) and have purchased upgrade instruments as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I've brought several instruments - guitars, ukuleles, mandolins - and amplifiers to LMC for routine maintenance, sometimes with pretty severe technical or structural issues, and I've never been disappointed in the service I've received. The folks who run the place are down to earth and easy to work with, and I always walk out of there with a smile on my face.

We were initially pleased with how easily we reserved a spot for violin lessons. The spot was reserved for 48 hrs, pending the securing of payment and registration. I called on the day that I was supposed to come in and asked about their hours. Aaron answered the phone and was considerate enough to say that since we lived in Fairfield, there was no need to make a special trip in to register. I offered a credit card # over the phone, but he said no worries we could just do everything on Sat. before the lesson.

Our 12 year old daughter was so very excited and looked forward to her lesson all week. We arrived about 15 mins prior to our scheduled time and we were told that the Instructor had left for the day!!! Our name was still in the appt. book, along with a phone number right below it! A lady confirmed that Sarah had checked her schedule before leaving for the day, but never bothered to call to see if we were coming! They tried to say that I failed to secure the spot by pre-registering! I was FURIOUS and my daughter was devastated! It has now been a week and I have not so much as received a call from the store manager to apologize! This business made something wonderful and exciting a complete disappointment and has taken NO responsibility for their actions! I hope this review saves another family from a negative experience like ours. Kids deserve better and so do customers!
