Estrella Barber Shop

The Estrella on Victory Blvd. near the corner of Van Nuys Blvd. is a great, old school Latino barbershop (no salon vibes here!) and definitely one of the last of its kind in the Valley.

There are 2, sometimes 3 experienced barbers on duty and they all do excellent work and really take their time with each customer. Whether you want just a regular trim, a military regulation cut or a classic flattop - these barbers always deliver. And at $13 for a regular haircut (incl. bald fades) you will not get more bang for your buck anywhere!

They get super busy on Saturdays when the wait can be up to two hours (be prepared to take a number!) even if you're an early bird. So if you do not have time to unwind and wait for your haircut, I suggest you go see them on a weekday.

A word of caution: None of the barbers speak English well but well enough to understand haircut directions. I've never had a bad experience with any of them and I've sat in the chair with all 3 barbers at one time or another.
