I saw him about 9 months ago for a skin condition I have. My long-time doctor retired, so I was going to switch to him as my primary physician. Nothing really went wrong during my appointment. He made a slightly rude comment, but I didn't think much of it. He also saw my husband for some breathing issues. He recommended him to someone else and said that if we paid in cash they might give us a discount. I thought that was kind of shady. He recommended me to see another doctor for something, but after doing research I asked if he could recommend me to a different doctor. He said I had to make another appointment (for the same issue I saw him with last time) before he would recommend me to a different doctor. Today, 10 months later, I called my pharmacist to refill my prescription for my skin, and they said that Gerges denied it. When I called Gerges, they said I needed to make an appointment before I could get a refill. This is a prescription I have been taking for 3 years, and I should not need to make an appointment every single time I need to refill a prescription. This was the last straw. He seems like a shady guy who is more concerned with his pocketbook than helping me, so I will go find another doctor. I would highly recommend that you find someone else and don't waste your time going to him.

He was the physician that treated my mother when she was admitted via the emergency department 2 years ago. Not once did he make any effort to even so much as contact me to let me know she was there. I had to call the hospital to find out for myself. He refused to return any phone calls to answer any questions I had, also refused to discuss my mother's case with me, despite the fact she filled out paperwork allowing me access to all info in her record. He was extremely rude, disrespectful and argumentative with me and my mom while she was in the hospital. He refused to listen to family history, refused to consider her problem might be something other than cancer (which it was) He could not tell the difference between a cancer tumor and a gall stone. It was horrible dealing with him!
