A&A Mold and Allergy Investigations

I needed a residential inspection for possible mold infestation and interviewed several companies. I chose A&A not only because of the many rave reviews and competitive pricing, but also because I was very impressed with the feedback I received when I called to inquire about service from owner, Robert Armstrong. He is very "hands on" and personally oversees all aspects of service from scheduling of testing to reporting. And, he is incredibly knowledgeable, informative and experienced about everything relating to mold/fungus/allergens. He also has the gift of being able to translate the complex into simple terms a layman can understand.



Bobby, the tech who did my inspection, was terrific. He called to confirm my appointment and give me notice when he was on his way. He was also very knowledgeable, meticulous and discussed with me areas to be tested and explained everything he was doing.



I received a very detailed written results report within 48 hours and Robert himself called to review it in great detail. He spent a lot of time patiently explaining results: what the score numbers meant, the terminology, etc. and he answered all my questions and offered treatment suggestions. Re the latter, there is no conflict of interest because A&A only does inspection and testing. So, you're not going to get ripped off by having any unnecessary "remediation" done to inflate fees. However when asked, Robert gave me a couple of names of treatment companies that he believes to be reputable.



From start to finish I received courteous, prompt, professional, but most of all, very personalized service that I believe only a sole proprietorship can offer unlike big companies, many of which are franchise operations. Hint: Avoid any company for testing or remediation with "SERV" in their name!
