Alpha Bicycle Company

I have not been on a bike for 25 years and now I need one for transportation and a little fun. I am a research maniac and I always try to find the biggest bang for the buck. I had my mind made up as to which bike I was going to purchase and where from. Alpha bikes is one place that I did not investigate but they came up as a bike shope in my area. I walked in the door at 10 am when they open, all the bikes were already outside and Abraham was waiting to help me. Because of my inexperience, I ask a lot of questions. He was serious and never once was pushy. They soon became very busy where he had to help others. By the actions and attitudes of all the people that came in I could tell I was in a place that really cared about there customers. As a buyer, I am a pain in the @$#@. As, Abraham was helping others, he kept answering my questions. I, after research, thought I knew what bike I wanted, but after spending an hour and a half, I realized what I wanted was not the bike for me. I am 6'1", 300 lbs and I they gave me the right advice. So, my plans changed, I really wanted the bike, but my decision was already made up on something different. I went away for about an hour. I came back and they did not come after me like the have the sale. When Abraham noticed me he simply asked if I had more questions. Once I told him I wanted the bike, He made sure that he adjusted everything to my preference, gave me a few rules of the road and told me to come by once in a while so he can check my bike and make sure everything is working properly. I got a little long winded in this review, and I am not one to write a review, actually this is my first one, I just had to take a few minutes out of my life to let the inquirers know that if you need a bike, or need to fix your bike, Alpha Bikes seem to me like your friends house rather than a retail sales business.

Alpha Bicycle Company, with its views of mountains and palm trees beyond Discount Tire and Midas across the street, is admittedly not in the most attractive part of Vista. When I visited in late March, 2009, the shop’s neighboring business, a band instrument supply store, was clearing out its final inventory while a homeless person on the sidewalk lazily watched until a police officer helped her to move on. With heavy vehicle traffic along the road whizzing by the company’s dilapidated sign on the street, regular police patrols keep the area safe, so there’s no need for bars on the windows in this low-rent district.
