Other review is so very right. They took my whole deposit and charged me another $1000 for what was damages to begin with and wear and tear after years of being there. Some examples of over charges. My son broke the back of the toilet and instead of replacing that (which I expected), they charged me for a WHOLE NEW TOILET. The towel rack came off the wall because I put a wet towel on it and it was in drywall. They said they were charging me to replace it with metal and block inside (as should have been done to begin with). I ask you, should a tenant have to pay to make things BETTER then they were to begin with. The front door to my apartment had a screw come loose (not installed properly) and it wedged in the door and we could not get out. We called building security and they had to push the door in to get it open. The property manager charged us for a WHOLE NEW DOOR because it split slightly in the middle. It was their shoddy work to begin with that caused the problem AND it could have been filled. Buyer beware. I lost my whole deposit and am fighting in court. They also took 15 days to get back to me with the accounting and I had to ask them for it. They then gave me an overblown accounting. I told them because it was 15 days, and as it very much appeared they were trying to rip me off, Hawaii state law states their charges were null and null and void and they now had to give me the full amount. I said either send me a reasonable list of charges or I would sue them for all of my deposit plus 3 times the amount as the law says I am entitled. They would not adjust any charges AND I was sent a photo of the envelope with a postage stamp (the type of stamp from a Pitney bowes postage machine you buy) with a date stamp of 3 days earlier. The stamp from the post office said it was sent 3 days later. I think this scam must have worked for them before. Do not be fooled. This is what I can unethical business practices so you might want to think twice before handing over money. I know I regret it. I have left the state and they must have figured it would be easy to get me. Run now while you still can.

RUN NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN WITH YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT STILL INTACT. McCormick Realty (not even displaying their real address) in Maui has a bad reputation of trying to shaft people for their deposits. They also appear to have friends in their pockets to give BS receipts for work done. I strongly advise you to rent elsewhere.
