Dexmet Corporation has been producing specialty expanded metals to meet its customers needs since 1947. It developed one of the first fine expanded metal to meet the needs of many technology applications, including battery designs, shielding requirements, and solar power developments. The company offers a full line of resistor and load bank solutions, and its applications include battery-powered vehicles, slope resistors for generator sets, current sensing, grounding resistors, precipitators and transportation, dynamic braking, starting resistors, and welding controls. Dexmet Corporation is the only approved supplier of expanded metal products for Boeing Commercial Aerospace Company. It has a more than 38,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Naugatuck, Conn., and a 25,000-square-foot plant in Branford, Conn.
