Galloping Grape

This store has the unlikely combination of tack & horse related items and a wine shop! Somehow the odd pairing works. We're not horse people, so I don't know how the supply and item quality rank, but we really like the wine. The proprietors, Kim and Frank, hold free tastings on Thursdays from 5-7pm. We appreciate the opportunity to learn about and try the new wines before we buy. They are fun people and make the tastings interesting and enjoyable. I now try to set my work schedule to be available on Thursday nights! The featured wines usually are not terribly expensive, $10-$15 a bottle, and most weeks a couple of bottles come home with us. Our collection now contains unusual wines from different countries and our palate has expanded quite a bit. Thanks Kim and Frank!
