Warrenton Center Cleaners

We love these cleaners! I drive a half hour to use them. They don't use toxic materials, which is important to us. They have never mixed up an order, and they look the clothing over carefully before taking it in. They've found pocket seams that were about to rip before we noticed, and were able to do the repairs there. Would have cost us a lot more if we'd waited! We recommend highly.

They are not completely honest. I took in a down comforter with the manufacturer's tag still sewn into the seam, saying "Dry Clean Only." When I picked up the comforter, the tag had been removed and the item had been run through a washer, not dry cleaned. For this they charged me $38. I could have taken the item to a laundromat and washed it myself in a commercial washer for less than $10, but because the tag specified dry cleaning, I took it to the dry cleaners. What they should have done: when I first took the comforter in, they should have given me the option of either dry cleaning or washing, explaining why washing was an OK option in spite of what the manufacturer recommended. I could then have taken it to the laundromat myself, or left it with them knowing exactly what they were going to do and how much it would cost. Too bad they didn't, because I will not patronize this establishment again. They are not up front with customers.
