Do not hire Patrick Lynch!

First off, he incorrectly installed a medicine cabinet that fell off the wall and cut my face when I opened the door. He did return to fix it but I had to look up on YouTube on how to install it correctly for him since he didn't know how to do it and I had to force him to watch the video. Sigh.

He had also previously installed an 80 lbs (approx 5.5 x 3.25 ft) mirror horizontally over my computer desk. He installed two screws of different lengths using improper anchors for drywall and did not screw them into the studs (see attached photo). As a result, the screws moved easily in and out by hand and eventually the mirror dropped bout an inch on one side due to the weight. This was a very dangerous situation since the mirror could have fallen on the desk destroying computer equipment and hurting anyone sitting there. I subsequently had the mirror rehung by someone else who installed wooden braces at the top and bottom of the mirror, utilized the studs, and used much sturdier and longer screws. I can now clean the mirror with confidence!

Patrick also did not install all of the screws provided when installing curtain rods and did not patch the holes after he had to readjust items he hung because they were crooked the first time. It was sloppy work and not worthy of the high prices he charges.

It should also be noted that Patrick is a talker. Any job will take 2-3 times longer than it should because he will tell you all about his personal life and charge you for the time.

As a result of all this frustration, I sent him a polite email requesting a refund of $220 which he has refused to provide even though he apologized for the shoddy work. I am now forced to go to small claims court to recover my payment. I do not recommend his services
