Founded in 1983, the Progressive Life Center, also known as PLC, is a nonprofit organization that provides child placement services, such as clinical and case management activities. It offers community-based behavioral and mental health services. The organization offers a range of psychological services, including individual counseling and psychotherapy for anxiety disorders and depression, as well as stress management and psychological testing. The Progressive Life Center also offers assessment services for academic and learning disabilities and personality and cognitive issues. It additionally provides marital and relationship counseling and substance abuse treatment services. The organization is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
