        Having dealt with Firestone in...

        Having dealt with Firestone in the Quad Cities for many years, we felt confident having our daughter's car towed here when her brand new alternator died. We had a warranty on the alternator so we purchased a new one and were going to pay Firestone in Waterloo to install it. They wanted no part of this. They wanted us to purchase a brand new alternator from them. Maybe this is the norm, but we found another garage to take care of our wishes, no questions asked, and only cost us $105 in labor. We got the old alternator back and can now go get our refund for it.



        Another thing I found odd, my daughter's friend needed a restroom and was told they didn't have one. So be prepared if you are staying to wait for your service!



        I don't like this way of doing business. I truly feel Firestone in Waterloo was being greedy and not very helpful to someone down on their luck. As far as I am concerned they have lost a customer over the mark up price on their parts.
