I DECLARE UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY THAT THE FOLLOWING IS TRUE AND CORRECT:
I contacted Kathy Oliver at the end of February 2017 regarding a situation where the PM company that had been hired and paid to provide their services failed miserably to do so. The tenant had fallen behind on their portion of the rent in the amount of $9,000 while the Housing Authority continued to pay their voucher amount. Never once was the Housing Authority notified of the delinquency by the previous property management representative as you would expect them to. We learned the hard way that although some businesses have the ability of coming across as being competent, the reality is that it's often just a 'front' for placing quantity over quality or greed over the trust of the client. The situation was a messy one to clean up and Kathy could have turned me away but she chose to help resolve the situation as the property owner does not live in California. On March 15, 2017, thanks in part to the quick and effective assistance of Kathy Oliver and her associates, the owner received half of the funds that were overdue in rent. To say that I'm impressed with the services received by Oliver PM is an understatement. Each individual in the organization presents a special skill that, as a team, makes them an effective machine. I was taken back at her lack of intimidation to deal with the predicament. She is no 'poodle' but instead cares and felt bad for the owner and demonstrated her protective and proactive 'German Shepard' characteristics in defusing and handling the situation as well as providing quick results. I was referred to her by a colleague in the real estate industry (aka a fellow competitor) who had nothing but admirable things to say about her. Tenants will quickly learn that they either pay what they agreed to in exchange for the dwelling or they will be confronted quickly to resolve the matter. When a tenant moves in and discovers that Oliver PM is on guard, they know or will quickly discover what it truly means to witness professional PM services that are nothing less than proactive for the individuals they represent.
