Dental Examination

X-rays

Teeth Cleaning
First choice would be none because you keep your teeth and gums healthy with routine check-ups and teeth cleanings. A close second and perhaps most popular would be virtually painless dental treatment.
Fluoride Treatment
At Dr. Spina’s dental office, we are proud to offer our patients the most advanced technology and techniques available in dentistry. We believe that preventative dental care is essential to maintaining good health throughout your lifetime, but we are also aware of the financial strain that such care may put on your family. Our Smile Club is specifically designed for patients who do not have dental insurance. For a yearly fee, Smile Club Members will receive two dental cleanings and exams, one set (7) of bitewing x-rays and two fluoride treatments each year. In addition, a 15% discount will be offered on all dental treatments.

Fillings
Silver, amalgam fillings have a tendency to darken over time. It’s also common for metal fillings to require the loss of more tooth structure during the procedure.
Veneers

Root Canal Treatment
Dr. Spina did a great job on a more complicated tooth. I had a back tooth that had an issue as a kid. Resulted in a cap in my 20’s. The cap recently came off. I was sent to the nice root canal doctor. Dr. Spina built my original tooth back up for a better fit. Dr. Spina has a kind and relaxed atmosphere and his work is impeccable. He is the second main line dentist I tried after my dentist growing up retired. I have been a patient for about 5 years.

Dentures
Support Removable Dentures — Implants can even make removable dentures more comfortable, effective and healthier to wear. Traditional dentures rest on the gums and put pressure on the underlying bone. This accelerates bone loss so that the jaw shrinks and the dentures slip, particularly on the bottom. But today dentists can attach a removable denture onto implants, transferring that pressure into the bone structure rather than the bone surface. This prevents the dentures from slipping while you eat and speak, and preserves the bone directly beneath them.

Dental Implants
I was a patient of Dr. Spina for over 10 years but because of me moving further away, I changed dentist over the last couple of years. I regret making this decision, as I have struggled obtaining proper dental care over that time. Most recently I discovered one of my older implants (over 17 years old; done prior to Dr. Spina) was loose and I knew there was no one I trusted to look at it except for Dr. Spina. His staff was able to get me in within a few days of me calling and it was fully taken care of in about two weeks. The level of care, attention, knowledge, and patient service Dr. Spina provided me was well beyond the other dentists I tried in between. The service he provides is well worth me traveling further!

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Dental lasers are also effective for eliminating infection and treating it’s source. Again, this is possible without any necessary or painful incision common with other forms of oral surgery.
Gum Surgery
