Founded in 1989 by three engineers in the United States, Tetra Engineering is an international consultancy that provides engineering and system integration services to the power industry. The company assists clients in the operating performance of power generation assets. Tetra Engineering provides services for the energy and process industries. Clients are typically owners, lenders and operators of plants, including CCGT, standby diesels, conventional thermal plants, nuclear stations, refineries and pipelines. Services range from engineering support and analyses at plant level to operational and engineering planning enterprise wide. Tetra Engineering provides heat recovery steam generator or waste heat recovery boiler services, plant operations and maintenance, asset management, project services and control and instrumentation. The main office is in Weatogue, Conn. A European subsidiary was founded at Sophia-Antipolis, near Nice, France, in 1991.
