Kitchen Remodeling
We had the opportunity to work on an exciting kitchen remodeling project in Chester County, PA in a neighborhood that we lived in before taking on our first fixer upper and eventual forever home. It was exciting to be part of such a tight knit community and to watch our children grow up together. They went to the same schools, played on the same sports teams, often times with their parents as coaches, slept over at each other's homes, and ultimately became lifelong friends.

This phase 1 video begins after the demolition, rough electric/plumbing, and drywall were already completed, and will provide you a good sense of how moving a few walls can really transform your space and the overall kitchen ergonomics.

While this project is nothing short of spectacular, you won't find any overbearing statement pieces upon your visit - It doesn't have a grandiose staircase, a polished marble foyer, or a massive chandelier... all of which usually come with a slight level hesitation for visitors. Rather, you'll be welcomed into this transitional farmhouse with hints of mid-century modern and contemporary design elements. Large windows, unique shapes, harmony with the surrounding landscape, clean and effective use of natural materials such as wood, stone and light, as well as an open floor plan set this home apart from others in the surrounding area. The farmhouse part speaks for itself as you enter down the long driveway with horses and cows lining the drive.
