@ckdubya- MEDcare Urgent Care takes all patient feedback seriously and we would like to address the issues that made your visit less than desirable. 1)- MEDcare Urgent Care does have an Affordable Care Plan for those patients without health insurance that offers low cost visit options based on the fact that payment will be made by the patient at the time of service. This helps reduce our costs as we will not have to file with, wait on payment or incur any additonal costs from collecting from the insurance company. Our Affordable Care Plan is not a form of insurance, rather a low cost option for people who do not have health insurance, to receive the care they desire. 2)- MEDcare Urgent Care has a set fee schedule with all insurance carriers and we only charge what is allowable by each insurance company.
