Deena's School Of Dance

Deena's School of Dance is a family oriented dance school. With the family feel, please know that your child (of any age) will feel at home. The non-competitive dance environment teaches the love of the art and proper technique. The staff at Deena's bring many years experience and will be sure to teach your child just the right steps.



As a parent of a child dancing at Deena's for the past 2 years, I know she is learning not only the correct dance steps, but also building friendships to last a lifetime.

While the environment is a friendly one much like a family atmosphere, sometimes that presents it's own problems. Too many impromptu changes to schedules which is difficult for any parent trying to plan multiple kids schedules, lack of timely communication to parents, and just an overall sense of disorganization. Dance material and website both tend to get stale. We had great hope when the studio first opened and were sold on the vision, which unfortunately got lost along the way and we had to make a change. Hopefully for the other families positive changes will come, but only if they start at the top.

DSOD is a warm and welcoming enviroment! We followed Miss. Deena from another studio because of her wonderful personality and the TLC that she gives to each student. If you are looking for a studio to try I would head to Deena's School of Dance!

My 12 year old son is enrolled at Deenas school of dance in West Grove Pa. Every Friday we make the drive from Newark De to attend one of the only all boy Hiphop programs around. I have found that Ms. Deena and her staff, Ms. Nancy and Ms. Amanda have proven time and time again that the kids are the most important priority of her studio. My son has developed friendships and a love for the arts that I never thought was possible. This is is first time dancing and Ms Deena made him feel so welcomed and taught him how to shine. He will be entering his first recital this year and we are so looking forward to the show. I think that Deenas school of dance has given my son new experiences, new technique and has also opened his eyes to a whole new world of dance. As an athlete, I thought that dance was a long shot but Ms. Deena and her staff are amazing. Their studio has been so warm and caring and I am glad that I have found such an amazing studio for my son to dance. Thanks to all!!!!!
