It seems the restaurant does primarily carry out. There are several tables available to eat in. It is adjoining their Mexican grocery store.
The food is excellent. The burritos are our favorite.
We typically get take out at least once a month.
Call ahead the carry out is very busy.

I have to say this is the worst "dining" experience I have every had in my life. The short version is it was not clean, not really even a restaurant, and every bit of food we had either didn't taste good or was just so nasty we couldn't force ourselves to eat it and it was really expensive. If you want the whole story keep reading.
We had a Restuarant.com coupon for La Perla Tapatia. The entrance has a sign that still has this name and everything says "La Aldea formerly La Perla Tapatia" like it is the same place only with a different name. And the street sign says La Guadalupana, so who knows what this place is actually called.
When we first walked in we actually walked right back out thinking we had mistakenly gone into a convenience store. There are groceries and a butcher/deli area and they even had bedding for sale. It even smelled bad and wasn't clean. There are just a few tables set up you can sit at. We figured we would tough it out and maybe we stumbled across a diamond in the rough and at this point we thought maybe it would make a good story.
They brought out chips and a few salsas (if you can even call it salsa). One was unbearable, one was edible and I don't know what the third one was, but it was just too weird to eat. You help yourself to the drinks in the convenience store area. Then they took or order. I asked what was good and she recommended the veggie burrito or something close to that name and my husband had the nachos.
It took a surprising long time to get our food and we had both already drank a whole glass of coke from the 2 liter we selected from the convenience fridge. The food finally came out and mine was just terrible. It was a tortilla stuffed with raw veggies (tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, and what I think was cucumber), mayo, sour cream, and cheese. the burrito had been cooked after being stuffed with these ingredients. Yep that is right they cooked lettuce, sour cream and mayo inside this big mess and there was no seasoning or flavor at all. I had one bite and about spit it out and my husband who will eat anything wouldn't even eat anymore after taking one bite. His was some type of meat that looked like a mixture of ground beef and tiny slices of steak with nachos sour cream lettuce peppers and tomatoes then a few minutes later they brought him out a cold plastic prepackaged cup of cheese sauce. Literally I think they pulled it off the convenience store shelve opened it and sat it on the table. He said his meal was edible, but not good at all and again this guy will eat anything.
When he ate part of his meal and I ate no more of my meal we went to pay and they said they could not accept the restaurant.com coupon which I had checked to see if it was still valid on the website before we went out. So I finally came clean and said "ok I understand if you can't accept that, but could you at least take off my meal since I didn't eat it" and she explained that since I touched it I had to pay for it. We argued back and forth for a little while and I even asked if satisfaction meant anything to her which she replied no. We ended up paying the $18 bill for the half of a meal we actually ate, chalked it up to a donation we just made to that terrible place, left wishing we would have trusted our instincts and never ate there in the first place.
So basically if you want overpriced terrible food in a horrible and pretty questionable setting this is the place for you.
