The most dis-organized over priced company. That over promised and under-delivered. I was ripped off plain and simple and you will too if you call these crooks!

I've been a customer of RM Schmidt for many years and have had nothing but great service from them! Not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about? I've dealt with Darryl (Residential Service Mgr) since I started using RM Schmidt. Their technician Rick has also been coming to my house for over ten years for maintenance and service. In fact, in the fall our oil furnace stopped heating on a Saturday evening during "a local football team's" game. I called their 24hr Emergency Service line and I got a call back from them and they had a tech out within an hour. My furnace was up and running in no time. I'm not sure about a change in ownership? I have notice they've done some new things, which seem good to me, like advertising that all their employees are drug tested and background check. They talk a lot about their technicians having MD licenses. i'm not sure what that means, but it sounds good to me! Anyway, I've trusted my heat and a/c to Schmidt for over 10 years! I have always found them to be professional, courteous and dependable.

I use to love this company. It was the first and last place that I would go for all of my HVAC needs. In the past two years the company has gone completely down hill and is horrible to deal with. Most of the employees are rude and every time I find an employee that I like I find that they no longer work there the next time I need help. I have recently learned that the company has turned over new ownership to Sean Schmidt the son an am assuming this is the core to all the changes in the company. It went from a family business that I loved to another company that is just out for as much money as they can get. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
