Longo was the FIRST electric motor service center in North America to earn the ISO-9000 quality certification way back in 1994. Over the years, we have maintained this stringent quality system continual updating our procedures to the latest standards. Recently, Longo was re-certified to the latest revision of the standard, ISO 9001:2015 – issued to us by SGS North America, Inc., on behalf of the International Organization for Standardization. SGS verifies that we have implemented a quality management system that not only allows us to consistently meet the needs of our clients, but also reinforces our commitment to continually improving the quality of our work.

General Info: Longo provides electrical and mechanical products and services. The company s expertise includes electric motors, switchgear, pumps, fans, transformers, drives and controls. It operates from four service center facilities in Wharton and Linden, N.J., Manhattan, N.Y and Bensalem, Pa. Each locations offers motor and mechanical repairs from experienced craftsmen, technicians and engineering support. The company s field service technicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for on-site emergency service. Qualified mechanics dismantle, inspect and assemble everything from motors and generators to gearboxes and pumps. Longo s repair capabilities include trucks and cranes to 30-ton lifting capacity; balancing to 10 tons; machining to 52-inch swing; as well as 40,000 square feet dedicated to repair activities.
