If you're looking for a Church that is perfect, well good luck. No Church is perfect, because the Church is comprised of human beings and no human being is perfect. Pastor Boswell has been with us for around five years now and his solid, no punches pulled messages have made a big difference in how we see our community and the world. Immanuel's focus is no longer on buildings, activities and outward appearances like the large cross, but it is now the people who live in our community, city, state, country and world. Our goal is to spend more and more time, effort and money on reaching the lost for Christ. That is our number one mission. On Sunday, we now have a contemporary service at 9:30 am and a traditional service at 10:50 am. Wednesday nights are filled with fun for everyone. Wednesday night dinner is served at 5:00 pm and is followed by a bible study for all ages. At 6:20 pm, Awanas kicks off in the main gym for Kids Preschool age through sixth grade. Older children have their own bible study and activities up stairs in the youth area with Brother Matt. I have been attending Immanuel since 1993 and have been through many ups and downs, but there is no other church in the city that I would rather call home.
