Roy's Bakery

I fell in love to this place because of their amazing cupcakes. I can’t get enough of them. I always but a dozen and give it as a gift for several occasions.

This Bakery is the best bakery EVER!!! There cakes are elegant and look beautiful. There cookies have a great flavor and are done to perfection. They do the best wedding cakes and our family have gotten 5, all very well done and are magnificent. Unlike the other comment, I have gotten the utmost respect. There bakers and clerks are very well mannered and listen extremely well. In 35 years of going to them, our family has never had any experience like what the other person said. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime, and anywhere I could.

Don't use this bakery! My family has always purchased birthday cakes from Roy's Bakery since the 60's and it became a sort of old fashioned birthday tradition since my first birthday cake, but unfortunately the last few years, their customer service has become painfully horrible due to the wife of the owner. She is an extremely rude, abrasive, nasty woman who would sooner ruin your day than treat you nicely as a customer should be treated. The people whom my Grandparents dealt with, who started the business, I'm sure would not have wanted their customers treated like she treats customers. I asked to speak to her Husband, whose parents started the business, in the hope to have a different conversation, and she said he would be even ruder to me than her! I have spoke to other people and they said she was like that with them also, and they no longer use them either. It's sad when you choose to use a small business to support them instead of going to a large grocery store bakery, and then regret going because of the treatment you receive, when you just had a question about a quality problem, unfortunately, more than once and are told nothing can be done, and tough, maybe you should go elsewhere. So I am writing this to save someone else from the aggravation of having their birthday upset... she had me in tears. Unfortunately this is a family tradition that we are ending now, because I and the rest of my family and friends that I've told, will no longer purchase anything from Roy's Bakery. It's sad when a small business goes out of business, but it's even more of a shame when you have one that doesn't care about it's customers.
