General Info: We are all deeply influenced by cultural and environmental circumstances. Unprocessed familial thoughts and emotions from past generations are internalized in us as we move from childhood-to adulthood-to elderhood. This can have a profound effect on the quality of our lives. Becoming more aware of how thoughts, feelings, sensations and life traumas influence us, we begin to develop new insights that lead to personal growth. Through our work together you will discover tools that assist in building bridges to better health, actualizing your full potential and cultivating a more fulfilling life. I offer sensitive and compassionate support to help safely create the internal space necessary for healing. The counseling process focuses on helping identify and heal depression, anxiety, chronic pain and stress- related issues. Working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, I specialize in life transitions, women’s issues, expressive arts therapy, grief counseling and stress reduction. My specialties also include teaching mindfulness meditation and expressive art as a way to restore balance within yourself and your world.
