$1200.00 to run bloodwork? I believe this Vet is a complete fraud. Watch what he has you sign to get simple procedures done. Don't go here for your wallet or your pet's sake.Dropped off my cat who had been throwing up for 3 days. She has always been a cat who vomits. I had asked the doctor "Salem" to do blood work on her to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. Usually blood is taken you go home and a vet will call you back for further investigation. He wanted to keep her for a few hours. He was told not to do any further work until blood work came back from the lab and he was to call us when he received the results. He also sedated her when he was specifically told not to do so. This was around 3pm doctor never called us we called him several times and was told 1 more hour he would call back. He never called back. By 7pm we finally said we were coming in to pick our cat up. When we got there he gave us a bill for over $1200.00. He did however charge our Care Credit card the maximum amount allowed. We have nothing to show for taking our cat to Dr. Salem except for charges on our Care Credit card. We have yet to get any paper work or diagnoses for our cat's treatment. My neighbor had an even worse nightmare than ours. We were later able to determine that after eating grass to combat hairballs, the grass would get stuck and not be regurgitated. Simple problem, No More Rip Off Vet and No More Grass. Yes we've filed Fraud Charges.

I called my previous vet clinic late evening to see my dog and they asked me to wait till next day, so I looked at yellowpages.com and found this clinic, I was spuriously extremely happy when they welcomed me and checked my dog and took care of him. and finally I was so happy with the bill. Dr. Salem discounted the bill for me after knowing the situation. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

Very FRIENDLY doctor, and very knowledgeable and highly recommended. I will defiantly visit his clinic for all my cat need. My cat was very sick I took her to silver spring hospital and the staff was very warm welcoming and took more car than expected in pet hospitals i have even visited.

there was only one person in the building, the vet, who made me hold my kitten, and put my finger on her vein while he took her blood. needless to say her screaming made me let go, and the syringe fell on the floor. luckily there was enough and there was no need for a repeat. it was just very small and the gravel road and mobile home type appearance didn't set me at ease. also, he gave me some flea treatment. it had a sticker on it with her name, mine, and the date it expired. it also had a sticker on it with some other pets name, owner, and an expiration of 2 years prior. not going back.
