AutoZone Auto Parts

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. My car wouldn't start the other morning and when AAA came to jump it they said that I most likely needed a new battery and auto zone would be able to do a load test to be sure that was the problem. I had my car running for half an hour and drove the 20 minute drive to the Windsor Locks location. When I got there an employee told me that since my car had just been jumped I would have to drive around for another hour in order to get an accurate read. I did not have an hour to waste since I was already late for work so I just went to work and decided to come back later. When I got out of work it took me 3 attempts to get my car started so when I finally got it running I drove back to the Windsor Locks location. I explained the situation to another employee and asked if they could do a battery test. It was an hour and a half before closing and the employee checked the time and told me that their portable battery test was broken and he would need to remove the battery to check the charge. I told him if there was something wrong with the battery I would be purchasing a new one then and there. He then checked the time again and said I needed to just wait and come back the next day. Since I had already missed half of a day of work this day I was not willing to risk needing to call AAA again• they're customer service is terrible and they made an already stressful situation even more stressful. I decided to call Advanced Auto Parts which is a few miles away and they were very helpful. After the load test it was confirmed I needed a new battery so I purchased one and they installed it for me. This entire process took less than 20 minutes and I could not be more grateful for their wonderful customer service. Needless to say I will never shop at an Auto Zone again and I am glad I brought my business elsewhere.

I used Auto Zone in Windsor Locks a couple of times. The first time the attendant was very pleasant and helpful so when my daughter needed a new battery I immediately thought of them first. This employee was snotty and combative. I would have left and NOT purchased the battery there except we were on our way to a four hour trip so I was boxed into the corner. I bit my lip and took the battery. When my daughter came home from school a couple of months later we thought the battery had gone dead and took it back. Once again I was confronted with an employee with an absolute shameful attitude. She said she didnt have the time for me and to WAIT! I waited because I wasn't about to pay for a new battery after 2 months was for sure. She replaced it with the very same attitude and wrote a note on my slip saying I wasnt to get any more replacements. Nice girl. Not too much farther along the car had the same exact problem. I took it to a mechanic and was told Ms Attitude didn't tighten terminals enough and that's where the problem was coming in. NEVER AGAIN-RUDE_and DISGUSTING. THEY GET NO STAR> they made me click a star.

We recently went to a childrens party here. The facility was clean and neat. The party hosts were attentive and courteous. The party room had alot of neat decorations in it. The mini-golf under the black lights was awesome. the kids had a great time. I would recomend this place for a party. Cost wise it was comperable to other types of venues and someone else does the cleaning
