Econo Lodge

I was supposed to stay at the Econolodge on Memorial Day weekend 2011 for my friend's wedding. I booked my hotel room about 6 weeks ago and called last week to ask a question and was told my reservation had been cancelled. Apparently the owner decided he wanted a 2 night miniumum and failed to tell anybody about that. He cancelled the block of rooms the bride and groom reserved, without telling them and cancelled all reservations in the block of rooms without telling anyone. Had we showed up the date of the wedding without calling last week, we would've found out we had no hotel. You try finding a hotel on Memorial Day weekend last minute in the Dells. To make it worse, the owner is refusing to call the bride and explain anything to her! This information was rec'd from the front desk.

had a comp night coming and decided to stay at this hotel. i was very disappointed. the place was very noisy and beds not to comfortable. the desk clerk had to do the check-in/check-out and the breakfast bar which was always empty. would not recommend.
