First Southern Baptist Church

The church is beautiful inside. It has a 26 foot high vaulted ceiling. The carpet and pews are a beautiful dark maroon color. The baptistery sets about 6 feet high above the chior loft and approximately 20 feet in back of the pulpit. Over the baptistery is a 15+ foot brown wooden cross with back lights.



The pews are 15 foot long benches on either side of a single isle leading up the middle of the sanctuary to the pulpit which sets on an 18 inch high platform spanning almost the width of the building. It is not your average church building.
