Because children have more than fluoride to fight cavities. Pediatric dentists are now putting a plastic surface, a sealant, right over decay-sensitive tooth surfaces so cavities cannot form. Although children have less to worry about today than ever before when going to the dentist, children sometimes experience dental phobia. That is why pediatric dentists work to make every visit a fun event. We believe that children become a part of the cavity-free generation by taking pride in their healthy smile and responsibility for their oral hygiene.
