Your heaviest items should be loaded towards the bottom-center of the container and distributed evenly. Each moving container can hold up to 2,000 lbs. If you have a lot of heavy furniture, youâ€™ll want to distribute those pieces between multiple containers. Each item should be lighter than the item below it. As you pack the container, youâ€™ll want to use furniture pads, sofa cushions, or pillows to fill empty space.
