My daughter who is in 8th grade now, is attending Fibo Art since last 5 years. She discovered her true love of art under the guidance of Fibo Art owner; Jasmine Raphael herself. Jasmine is not only a great teacher/leader but also a diligent employer who have team of skillful artists working under her. The classes offer gradual but deep understanding of art history on daily basis while letting the children have fun in their creativity. My daughter began with weekly core classes and earned her place in Scholarship program (which was named Leadership program earlier and acceptance was based on merit), where she got the opportunities to help paint murals at Golden Elementary, Rose Drive Elementary and Linda Vista Elementary schools as well as at a church in Fullerton. Now she is on her way to completing the 4 year curriculum. She loves to spend her any free evening and Saturday mornings at Fibo art either working on her creative projects in classes or volunteering at various events that Fibo Art holds to get the young artists involved with. She won several awards in the art contests over these years and recently was invited to exhibit her paintings in Sikh Arts and Film Festival. It is all because Fibo Art is a place where children become artists!!

My daughter loves this place. They incorporate a art history lesson in the beginning of the class and learn about different techniques every week. Highly recommend this place.

I worked at Kids Art and I was so frustrated by their copy and trace methods that I had to search within my own heart and look for another job. I'm working now as a professional illustrator but I recently came across Fibo because my friends child is going there. I am so impressed by their teaching methods which combine teaching techniques with leaving room for self expression, neither of which Kids Art does. If you are seeking an art school for your children, I would highly recommend looking into Fibo Art as they seem to have a much more in depth curriculum which in the end your child will grow with and move beyond just copying and tracing.

I signed up my 8th grade daughter up in 2005 when this art school opened. She continued to take classes once a week for the past 5 years and she's working on her high school AP portfolio right now. I felt compelled to write this review because I am so glad that i made the decision to send my daughter to Fibo Art because not only has she grown as an artist but she has learned other life skills that i never knew she was even learning. She is so dedicated and passionate about her art and she has learned a work ethic that I'm so proud of. She has learned to take pride in not only the process of creating her work but also in the presentation of the end product. No matter what she scores on the AP test or where she ends up for college, I am more than satisfied with her experience at Fibo Art and I know it will be an education that was worth much more than I what I have paid. I highly encourage any of you parents out there that are considering Fibo Art to give it a try. You will be so happy that you did.
