Keystone Human Services has been operational for more than 85 years. Formerly known as Keystone Service Systems, it is one of the oldest providers of human services in the United States. A family of nonprofit organizations, Keystone serves more than 30,000 people annually. The organization s subsidiaries include Keystone Residence, Family Support Associates, Partnership, Community Mental Health, Children & Family Services, Capital Area Head Start, Susquehanna Service Dogs, and Human Services International. Based in Harrisburg, Pa., it offers community services in Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. Keystone also offers mental health services, such as mental retardation solutions, early intervention, pediatric rehabilitation, autism, child welfare, and juvenile justice programs. Additionally, the organization provides Head Start programs, career assistance, partial hospitalization, adult social rehabilitation, child day care, therapeutic staff support, behavioral specialist consultants, mobile and occupational therapies, parenting and fatherhood initiative classes, and educational testing services.
