Diamonds in the Ruff provides a quiet low stress environment to pamper your pet with undivided attention. From the moment you are greeted at the door until I wave good-bye, your special friend is treated like one of the my own family members. After a discussion with you the owner about the desired hair style, your pets coat and skin are evaluated to determine the correct products to use. Prior to the bath the ears are cleaned and plucked (hair removed from the ear canal) if needed. Anal glands are checked and if needed expressed in the tub. Your pet is then treated to a warm soothing bath and massage, tooth brushing, rinse and then wrapped in warm towels. They will then be blow dried by hand, followed up by a complete brushing out. The hair style is followed up by a nail trimming and filing, cologne, and bows or bandanas. Special appointments from 5:30 - 8:00pm. Convenient to Poquoson, Newport News, and Hampton, VA.
