        My mother died New Year's Eve, in the middle of that miserable cold spell. The folks from Smith and Turner bent over back wards to take care of us. They not only helped immensely that night, and with the memorial service here, they helped make arrangements with the funeral home in Arizona to have her body shipped back. They did not release their responsibility until she was in the other company's hands. They worked extremely hard to make a difficult time as easy on us as possible. Everyone we encountered there could appear beside the dictionary definitions of helpful and compassionate.
