Fantastic Sams

I usually have a friend cut my hair but do to the fact that she is out of town and I needed my hair cut today I had a decision to make.



I called around to several high end salons and as its a few days before the new year they were all closing early. I desided I would try The fantastic Sams as the hair cut I wanted was fairly simple.



I walked in to the salon and was greeted by a woman who asked me to sign in. I did so and sat down to wait. I only sat for a few minutes.



I brought a picture with me of the style I wanted, a short layerd bob. When I presented it to the stylest she responded Eww, are you sure you want this? I stated yes and asked her to tell me if she felt that she couldn't preform the cut. She said it would be easy and that she was sure she could get it the same way as in the picture. She asked again if I was sure if it's what I wanted.



She washed my hair and sat be down to begin the cut. She showed another hair dresser the picture I had provided and asked her if she remebered it. Apperntly the other associate had a simiular cut and hated it so through my whole cut I got to hear just how much she hated it along with all problems she is having at home as she sat in the chair right next to me. The cut and dry took all of 20 minutes. Also durring the cut my stylest kept mentioning how harry I am because I had "wispies" under the bottom layer of my hair, mind you we're in a salon full of people.



All in all the cut turned out great, even better than I hoped for. But the "professionals" were not professional one bit. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon and I will be speaking with the manager.



To improve this problem the owner or manager needs to teach these woman what's professioanl and whats not. I'm surprised that grown woman don't understand how to at at work.



If your in a bind or you need a style on the cheap you can trust the skills they have at this salon. If your looking for a warm inviting enviroment- go some place else.
