Jimmy's Charhouse

First flag should have been the place was empty by 10 P.M. on a Friday nite. Spent $90.00 (after discounts) on a "special" 26oz bone in ribeye that I would bet my life was no more than 14oz. and maybe 1/4 inch thick with a little 2 inch bone sticking out the top and of course at that thickness well done though ordered as medium. Really expecting a hefty thick bone in Ribeye...what a disappointment. Ordered a shrimp cocktail and was brought five over deep fried shrimp? G.F. ordered the "homemade" crabcakes that were loaded with tuna and obviously microwaved (like mush). Most everything seemed microwaved including our soup and dessert (liquified the brownie). The dessert was suppose to make up for the crappy steak and microwaved crabcakes. Even the Hackor Schorr beer I ordered with dinner was warm and had that sat in the line to long skunky taste. (ANY good bartender would know to clear the line). I would maybe try this place again in a year or two, (if they are still there), and I really think Jimmy's should stop acting like a "steakhouse" unless they can start performing like one.

food was OK, service was good but the noise level was terrible.

Crappy waitress, crappy attitude. Place was too loud to hear anyone at your table. Food was ok. Just ok.

This was my first time dinning at this place and will probably be my last time. I was told this place was very good. The food was bland. I ordered a desert called "lava cake" where the hot fudge was suppose to ooze out. They brought it to me and it was cold and the fudge part didnt ooze out, it was frozen!!!!! The waitress was very crass and had a bad attitude. She also got frustrated and slammed the check on the floor. I was disgusted and walked out upset. Bad food, bad customer service!!!!

The food at Jimmy's is consistently good. I love their New York Strip. Don't miss the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. I don't like mushrooms and I love these.



I, too, wixh smoking was still allowed in the bar and the smoking section.

I just wish they would not have changed their smoking area.
