Do not move in, untrustworthy!!

I'm having to get a lawyer involved to resolve unfair charges after moving out. I got the attorney general involved, but the response from Dixie properties was filled with incorrect information: filing work orders after being begged for months, even if filing at all; incorrect or complete lack of paperwork, causing me to be charged for something they messed up while replacing; and denying the claim that the appartment manager gave me a money order when I found out money had gone missing. I don't know if it is because Dixie doesn't know what is going on in those apartments, or they are lying to protect themselves, but I told everyone at my job, some that also live there, about that happening as soon as it happened to protect them from thievery.

And I won't stop speaking out against the timbers until the collection charges are dropped, the pet fee goes to the charges, and something is done about the poor record keeping as well as poor customer satisfaction.

Don't be fool by advertisement ' under new management'. The whole thing is crap. The management is too lazy infact it work fix anything whenever you need something very important. The day I came to this apartment, every second for me is frustrating. I even can't wait for my lease to expire. Stove is complete mess, washrooms are dirty, I have seen mice almost everyday in my kitchen. I came here because rent was responsible but savings few bucks has taken my peace of mind. Its been more than a month here amd I don't know if I would be able to stay here more. I have already started looking for some place. But Timbers has really disappointed me especially the manager. He is just in good mood when you are filling application as a new tenant, once you become then you won't even recognize him.

I wish I could give this company no stars. I currently live at The Timber where the "management" in the office get to park in the residents parking and tow you if they're too fat and lazy to walk. They can come up banging on your door, smoking a cigarette, with a snotty attitude to tell you to move your car or it's getting towed. When you try to contact the owner of Dixie management your told she "might call back, we'll give her your message." I wouldn't recommend living in The Timbers or anywhere managed by this sorry excuse of a company.

Super cute, completely renovated, all new inside and outside! After reading the other reviews, I was considering not even looking at them, but I am glad I did. They have come under new management in the last year and the entire place has gotten a face lift. Very clean, very new, and very spacious. Super friendly office, nightly security patrol, and seems very quiet throughout the day and night. We love it!

Very dirty, disgustingly managed apartments. I dont think you can even call them apartments. Mice, roaches and bumble bees living in the rotted wood of the patios/balconies will be the least of your proplems if you decide to live here. Dont do it! Dont put yourself through it. Very shady people, break ins, gunshots, domestic violence...and dont even think about taking a walk without someone bugging you for a dollar or a cigarette. Its very obvious they take section 8. I am moving next month and I will never look back at this God-forsaken place.

if i could give this place half a star i would, it doesn't even deserve a full star. i have 2 months left on my lease, and it will be the longest 2 months of my life. i have NEVER been so disrespected living in a complex. the only reason my boyfriend and i even moved in was because they were running a special 2 months free (3rd and 9th month) and deposit was $99. good deal right? not worth it whatsoever! rent for us was $457/month and they didn't deserve any of our hard earned money! we were promised a 2bed/2ba but when we went to sign the paperwork the assistant had moved someone else in and we ended up with a 2/1. our sliding door screen had a massive hole in it, we reported this and they came to take it off and 10 months later...we still don't have a screen. if you want to charge your phone or use the outlets you need to go and buy an adapter because NOTHING stays plugged in the outlets! our dishwasher was completely molded and we had to run bleach through it, i have not once used it since but maybe to run bleach through it again. we've gone through about 2-3 different apt managers, and last month we got new owners. my boyfriend called to complain about upstairs trashy neighbors for almost a week and never heard anything back. until that is he left a nasty voicemail and the new manager called back and asked him, "Why don't you just move out?" way to do your job! speaking of trashy neighbors, our upstairs neighbors got a dog who they let chill out on the balcony for hours at a time. what do you think happens when he has to use the bathroom? and where do you think it goes? thats right, down on my porch area. we've called and complained and they just don't care. when you walk by my apartment it reeks of urine and feces. we've also had to call the cops so the apt could have a police report to evict them but honestly they dont care. nor is it my job to have to call and bug the cops everyday because we BOTH have jobs too. did i mention the neighbors have drums? thats right drums in an apt complex and thats my alarm clock in the morning. the only thing new management has done for us is give us a new fan in the bedroom, because for the past 10 months we've had a nonworking fan. i honestly don't care about the fan, especially after being used to not having one. i rather you do your job, i don't feel safe or comfortable in my own home. also there's suppose to be an onsite security officer, i've never seen him and he doesn't give out his number. i'm sorry mr officer, but i'm not going to run down to your apartment if there's some sort of emergency. home sweet home, yeah i think not.

This is by far the worst apartment complex i have EVER lived in. There has been break-ins and assaults in the last few months. There is very poor lighting across the complex and the fFt Smith Police department said until the lighting gets fixed it will continue. The apartment management blames the lighting on the electrical company instead of doing what is needed to get it fixed. The balconies all have wood-rot and are unsafe. This is the end of June and the swimming pool still isnt open and every week they point a finger at other people why it isn't open. If you need to speak to someone about a issue after hours or weekends forget about it, the management doesn't even live on site so you must catch them monday through friday 8-5, thats right, when everyone esle is at work also! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE, YOU WILL REGRET IT AS I AM!!!
