Founded in 1975, NUMED is a provider of contract multi modality diagnostic-imaging services. The company s services include the management and administrative functions of the entire radiology department or specific modalities within the department. The company provides billing services customized to the hospital's data management specifications with CPT code-based charges. The equipment for Nuclear Medicine SPECT Systems provided by NUMED includes a complete single or multihead nuclear gamma camera system, computer and software with future upgrades, equipment installation and removal, equipment maintenance, parts and labor, dose calibrator, video imager and lung ventilation systems. All engineering support and service is provided by NUMED through internal certified biomedical engineers or contracted engineering services. The service includes time, materials, calibrations and scheduled preventative maintenance. Service records and logs are maintained by NUMED and made available for inspection and review. NUMED is headquartered in Hopkinton, N.Y.
