I just had the Cuban Palomilla and it was delicious. I enjoyed the garlic sauce that came on the side. The bread with the spread was also delicious. Nice addition over here. I come over to Melbourne once a month and finally I have found a restaurant that I will be back to. Service was also great.

Not Good ! You can get a better tasting cuban sandwich at publix for less money. The black beans and rice to go as a side dish was $6.00 for a 4 oz cup and bland as heck. Repet business is not their idea of success.

I am a chef in New York! and visited many times to Cuba and had the experience of eating at the new restaurant Cuban Island and brought me great memories of Cuba!

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at this brand new restaurant. yes the owner and chefs ARE CUBAN and the food and cafe cubano proved it! very well priced, good meal, wonderful service and decent variety of wines and beers. Will definitely be returning!

I am Cuban and let me tell you this food was a major disappointment!!! The food was very bland!! Cuban food is very flavorful w tastes of lime,onions,garlic. The food was cold and some of the food was even raw in the middle. The atmosphere was nice that is the only reason why I am giving it one star. The food is also VERY over priced!! I will never go there again! I was very disappointed in this food. The black beans tasted like chilli. The owners and cooks are not Cuban!! Other people walking out said that they didn't like the food and are not coming back either. I live in beachside and I will still drive all the way to palm bay for Cuban food. Very sad :(

Was very disappointed in the food. Undercooked, cold. Didn't have the cuban seasoning. The cafe con lache was very watery. Save your gas. Will not be back again. :(
