If there was an option to select 0 stars, I would have!!!! I managed to lock myself out of my house and garage after hours one evening. The "locksmith" who arrived was not in a company marked vehicle or attire and never once made mention that he was affiliated with this company, as far as I knew, he was just a guy driving by and stopping. He was not professional in any way what so ever, and it was very hard to understand him since most of what he said he mumbled. The tools that he proceeded to use to try and unlock my lock was a skinny saw blade and a zip tie!!! He attempted several times to try and jam the end of this saw blade into my lock, which would have caused more damage than solve my problem. He than tries to call and text someone for tools that he should have thought about getting BEFORE he arrives to a call for someone locked out of their house. He decides that he is just going to leave and go after the tools himself and states he will be gone 10 minutes, it's just 3 blocks away. Needless to say I am already very leery of this person already and irritated by the lack of professionalism and preparedness. So during the 20+ minutes, I decided that I could not deal with them anymore and called to cancel my service call. Right then the "locksmith" called back and stated that there was traffic on the highway that was more than 10 minutes and 3 blocks away, I informed him that I no longer needed his services. I then called the company and told the person who answered that I was cancelling my call and that the "locksmith" that came didn't even have the appropriate tools needed and had to leave to go get some. After trying to tell me that I would still have to pay the service call, I forcefully reminded him that the man was using a saw and zip tie, I was NOT paying for anything!!!!! I don't know about other areas experiences, which with over 200 reviews they seemed to be legit, but the Springfield, MO "locksmith" is a joke!!!! Never, ever again!!!

Just had Arthur help out tonight with my apartment in the area.

Called up and a nice girl answered the phone, was told an ETA. Arthur showed up really professional and nice. They came up to my door, within like 2 minutes opened it without damaging the lock. $99 later (plus $29 night time fee, totally fair) I'm home and will definitely recommend them The best Locksmith Company in the area.

Yes. They Can.

I got locked out of my apartment the other night, with a busted doorknob that wouldn't turn. American Local locksmith had a bunch of other jobs but made sure to keep in touch with me and let me know what time he'd be there. Showed up in an hour and within 10 minutes, my door was opened. And he completely fixed my doorknob all for under $100 late night.

Mike the tech doesn't want to rip you off, and you can tell he really wants to do a great job and be friendly while also helping the customer out.

I chose this business from the Online reviews and they were right. Issac is on time, reliable, helpful and trustworthy. Best locksmith in the area - and I liked the fact that he was straightforward with pricing. Honesty and clear communication go a long way. Thank you.

Today I checked my previous reviews and realized that I've never put a review for this wonderful business. Erick had helped my wife and I install a new door lock in our home about 2 years ago in the area. He is super professional and made the process very painless. Normally this would be a 4 star review but after the new lock install our door malfunctioned causing the lock be stuck closed. Without hesitation Erick drives over, in the middle of the night, from the city to help fix our issue even though it wasn't his fault. This business definitely deserves the 5 stars.

The other 5-star reviews are well deserved. Gorge is a pro, with fast and excellent Locksmith Service.
All in less than 15 minutes. Mad skills and unheard of service level. Believe the hype!

Locked out late at night, and Isaac arrived quickly after I called - such a nice guy! He got me in to my apartment super quick and was so kind. I'd recommend American Local Locksmith, specifically Isaac, to anybody in this predicament! GREAT service.
