Brooke Mill Apartments

I moved to Brookmill in March of 2013. I knew this probably wasn't going to be a good experience the day of my walk through before I moved in. First things first: the apartment had a very poor paint job, there was paint on the floor in the kitchen which I had brought to attention; management's reply was there was no way to remove it. The day after moving in I had taken a little bit of floor cleaner and scrubbed it off. Now my only thought on this was just the apartments pure laziness to provide renters with a well kept and clean place to live. Other things I have noticed that still have yet to be handled, there was paint on the blinds, black marks on the walls, the floor did not look very clean, and the handle on the front door looked as if it was going to fall off. Then about a month later I reported that my oven wasn't working properly, ice maker was broken, and while the maintenance guy was at my apartment if he minded changing my light bulb. Now I have a dog so every time they come into my apartment they let me know so I can make arrangments for my dog to be put up. So the maintenance man entered my apartment only to fix a light bulb.... I mean really what was the point? As I had said it was a big deal to wait, since it is a incomvience to myself. Now that all was reported in April. As of last Friday in June mind you. Finally I have a new ice maker, and my ovens fixed. Now for the last straw! I had come home and noticed the maintence person was at my apartment to finally put in my new ice maker. I found black stuff on my floor on the side and in front of my refrigerator, to which I had to vaccume and wipe up from this careless person, not only that but found a broken pill with powder on my kitchen floor. Now like I mentioned before I have a dog!! And this apartment complex is so lucky that my dog didnt get a hold of it and eat because it would have killed her! Now for the best part. I confronted the maintence man whom said he was the one in my apartment and he said he has no such thing!!! Can you believe that, So who was in my apartment with only management and myself having a key; on the same day that he was there replacing my ice maker, and had the nerve to deny it!! Not only this but countless times have seen roaches in my apartment and for everyone's knowledge I am a very clean person. I asked countless times to be placed on the list for my apartment to be sprayed; now the person who sprays your home is suppose to leave a card so that renters like myself know he has been there and done his job. Not once have I received this and have continued with the bugs! I reported it to management and still the same problem continues. Also they charge you monthly for the services whether you use it or not. And lastly I have read the comments by other unhappy renters and have noticed others have had a problem with Patty a manger at Brookemill, and as well as others I am fed up with her rude and disrespectful attitude, as of everyone here at Brookemill is such an incomvience to her and she is annoyed and shows it very well.

Other then personal bad experiences; Brookemill doesn't seem to pressure wash the buildings like they used to the hallways are very dirty the overall look of the apartments aren't terrible but living here is! Someone got the hell beat out of them in the parking lot; police have been there a couple times although it doesn't seem to terrible with saftey.

Please everyone read these comments and don't live here!! I never read these reviews before I made the decision to live here and now stuck in a lease.
